We can deliver to most hospitals in and around
. We will endeavour to have your hospital flowers delivered but some hospitals have strict policies about flower and gift basket deliveries. Do You Need to Find a Nearby Sanctuary Point, Jervis Bay Florist?
The town of Sanctuary Point is located on the coast on New South Wales, on the shores of whatís known as St Georgeís Basin. The town is roughly 200 kilometres south of Sydney, and surrounded by a number of other localities which border the popular tourist destination of Jervis Bay.
The beaches of Jervis Bay and Sanctuary Point are renowned on a global scale for their pristine white sand, and clear, safe waters. In addition to these postcard-worthy beaches, the landscape of the bay is made up of coves, creeks and lagoons, and rugged hinterland, offering visitors a plethora of things to see and do, all against a stunning backdrop.
With such naturally exquisite beaches nearby, it makes sense that much of the tourism of the Jervis Bay and St Georgeís Basin area revolves around water-related activities. The Jervis Bay Marine Park is one of the top tourist destinations in the area, and offers visitors a chance to get up close and personal with a variety of sea creatures. Within the park, everything from seals and dolphins to penguins and other seabirds can be observed. Whales have also been known to pass through the perimetres of the park during their yearly migration.
Guests are able to take part in swimming, surfing and scuba diving, in addition to watching the range of wildlife. Though fishing is prohibited in some areas of the park, traditional fishing and spear fishing are encouraged in others.
For those in the Sanctuary Point or Jervis Bay area looking to spend time in a natural landscape thatís slightly greener, the Booderee Botanic Gardens never fail to impress visitors. The only botanic gardens in Australia to be owned by Indigenous Australians, Booderee contains a collection of culturally important native plants and wildlife. Guests also learn about the dietary and medicinal purposes of all the plants, and their role in Aboriginal communities.
The gardens offer tremendous views of the turquoise coastline and its surrounding sandstone cliffs. There are many areas on the grounds to stop for a picnic and take in the view, and extensive barbecue facilities are available to all guests. The park also hosts a variety of activities during the school holidays, including many opportunities for children to learn more about Indigenous Australian culture.
